Drum Grabber: extract clean drums and 808s from any song
Drum Grabber is a new drum extractor plugin from KYXXX: AI stem splitting, then every kick, snare, hat, clap, perc and 808 pulled out of any song as clean, rebuilt one-shots, with a step sequencer, genre patterns and a kit export. VST3, AU and app for Mac and Windows.

Every producer has heard a song and wanted those exact drums. Getting them out has always meant finding a quiet bit, chopping by hand and EQing out the vocal and the bassline, and the kick still has the song on it. Drum Grabber is a drum extractor plugin that does the whole job for you, and does it clean.
It starts with an AI stem split. Demucs, the model behind most stem splitters, runs inside the plugin, so the drums and the bass come out on their own stems before anything is cut. Then Drum Grabber finds every hit. A song plays the same snare dozens of times, so every take is lined up and stacked: the drum adds up and whatever was under it cancels out. Hats that land on kicks are taken out of the kick, tails cut off by the next hit are grown back, and each one-shot is rebuilt from all of its takes, with a blend slider from the clean grab to the full rebuild. 808s come out of the bass stem with their root note, so you can play them in key from MIDI with glide.
Then you make music with them. Every sound lands in a step sequencer that works like FL Studio's channel rack, playing the song's own pattern and groove. Load one of 13 genre patterns, from trap, UK drill and afro drill to amapiano, afrobeats, jersey club and UK garage, hit Vary for a new take, shape each drum with Grit, Squash, Fresh Air and an EQ you draw on the graph, and drag the loop into your DAW as a WAV with the FX on. Round robins and velocity layers come from the song's real takes.
Whether you're making drum kits to sell or just want fresh drum bounces, the kit export does the boring part: every sound named by its character and key, loudness matched, with round robins, an SFZ sampler patch, loops and MIDI. Take it one step further with NFO Tool and your kit looks pro in the FL Studio browser too.
Drum Grabber is £9.99 (down from £24.99), a one-off payment. VST3, AU and standalone app for Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows.
