NFO Tool: make your drum kit look pro in FL Studio
NFO Tool is a new Mac and Windows app from KYXXX that styles your drum kit for the FL Studio browser: artwork, colours and hover tips for every folder, 40 sign styles and a live FL preview.
Ever opened a drum kit in FL Studio and seen every folder with its own picture and colour? That's done with small .nfo files that sit next to each folder. Making them by hand is fiddly, so we built an app for it: NFO Tool.
Open your kit folder and every folder shows up in a live preview of FL Studio's browser. Give each one artwork (your own image, or a sign made in the app), a colour and the tip FL shows when someone hovers over it. There are 40 sign styles, from neon and gold to 8-bit, wood, chrome and tape, and each works in any colour.
Press Build and NFO Tool writes every .nfo file and image exactly where FL looks for them, on Mac and Windows. Your buyers don't need the app: the look is part of the kit. Then check the kit for empty folders, write a README and export a ZIP ready for your store.
NFO Tool is £9.99 (down from £29.99), a one-off payment with a serial for 2 computers. It's the first of a few producer tools on the way.
